Ph. D. in Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering Emphasis) Iowa State University. 1998.  Dissertation title: Assessing the benefit of providing improved traveler information- A pseudo-dynamic modeling approach.

M. S. in Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering Emphasis): Iowa State University. 1996.
Thesis title: Quick response techniques for transportation planning: An integrated GIS approach.

Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering with Honors: Iowa State University. 1994.

Areas of Specialization

Research interest include transportation and traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems, urban planning, and applications of geographic information systems to transportation (GIS-T)
